Dr. Robert Hilton

Dr. Robert L. Hilton earned his D.D.S. degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry. He went on to complete his Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at Andrews Air Force Base and worked as a general dentist for the United States Air Force for four years. He subsequently went on to complete a residency program at the University of North Carolina where he also completed a Master's Degree in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology. Upon completion of his residency he was given The Radiology Centennial Award from the American Academy or Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology. Dr. Hilton practices oral radiology for the United States Air Force in San Antonio, TX. His responsibilities include both teaching and practicing diagnostic radiology in support of the Air Force Postgraduate Dental School, AEGD-2 and Oral Surgery Residencies on Lackland AFB. He also serves as adjunct professor in the Department of Diagnostic Sciences at UNC-Chapel Hill.
