Dr. Yiing-Shiuan (Lily) Huang

Raised in North Carolina, Dr. Lily Huang received a Bachelor of Arts from Duke University with a major in Chemistry and minors in Biology and Music. She started her journey in dentistry across the road at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and graduated from dental school as a Doctor of Dental Surgery with Distinction in Research. Following dental school, she stayed at UNC to complete her residency training, receiving a certificate and Master of Science in oral and maxillofacial radiology. Dr. Huang is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology and is currently an Adjunct Assistant Professor at UNC, teaching pre-doctoral students and mentoring resident research. Her research focuses on the application of AI in dentistry and was recognized with the William H. Rollins research award from the AAOMR in 2023. In her free time, Dr. Huang enjoys spending time with her family and practicing music and dance.
